While other firms may say things like “we provide a personal service” and “our service is guaranteed”, these internally generated statements are usually nothing other than self-promotion. For our part, when it comes to claiming these attributes we can prove it. We have won not one but two national awards on the back of our performance.

Not just accounts and accountants We know that our clients need a wide range of services. So while we naturally carry out the tasks most people expect (Accounts, Tax Returns, Tax Advice, Auditing, Company Secretarial, H M W Payroll, Vat, Inheritance Tax Mitigation etc) we have an ever-increasing armoury of in-house extras, to be bolted on when needed, such as:

• Financial Services (Investments, Mortgages, Pensions etc) which are provided in-house by Mitchell Owen Financial Services Ltd(MOFS).

• Business Development (we have been judged as being in the top five small firms in the UK at providing such advice) - Help4Business.

We are also ISO 9002 accredited.

In recent years we have won three prestigious national awards:

1) The Daily Telegraph customer service award – we were the first professional firm ever to win this award.

2) Butterworth Tolley award for the best UK tax team in a small to medium sized firm (so we know our stuff).

And

3) The 2020 award for the most innovative medium-sized UK accountancy practice – this shows that we are recognised for always looking for ways to improve the way we serve our clients.

In 2004 we were on the short-list of the three best small UK accountancy firms. We did not win on that occasion but we later we were delighted to learn that a former chief accountant of the European Union, who was one of the judges, had voted for us.
