What Makes Us Different
- We always quote up front. We never start a job until you have approved the fee.
- We charge up-front for our tax return service. Once you have paid, then you are entitled to call us, email, visit us etc as much as you want. There will be no extra charges. Ours is an all-inclusive service
- We have written twelve books that explain how tax, law and businesses work. All are published by Lawpack Publishing. These books are free for clients.
- We write our own newsletters – we don’t buy them in – and they get most welcome plaudits.
- We never quibble about fees. If you are not happy, it’s quite simple: you don’t pay. You are the only judge in the matter.
- We supply clients, that would like it, a free tax return organiser called a Taxafile.
- We started sending out Budget Day Newsletters in 1979 and, as far as we can tell, from that day to this, ours has been the fastest in the land.
- We have won three national awards. One for the standard of our customer service from the Daily Telegraph, one for having the best tax team in a small to medium sized UK accountancy practice and the third for being the most innovative medium sized UK accountancy practice.
- We do not pretend that we know it all. This means that we employ specialist advisers in general taxation, VAT and IHT. You only pay for their services when you agree that we refer your problem to them. We have worked with all of them for at least ten years and we rate them very highly.
- You can write to us Freepost whenever you want. So we pay the postage, not you.
- You can pay by standing order, if you wish.
- We survey our clients every year. In the latest survey 96% of our clients rated us 9 or higher out of 10.
- Parking with us is a doddle. There are three spaces right outside our front door reserved for clients.
